Couples Therapy:

Navigating a relationship in our ever-changing society has become very hard to establish and maintain. A healthy relationship has to be able to withstand a lot of hardships, challenges, financial stress and many other external factors. In therapy we would like to allow for couples to commit and invest in their relationship in order to avoid built up resentment and pain that can destroy relationships and families. I offer a lot of support to couples and a healthy space for open and honest communication. I strongly believe that open and healthy communication can help couples avoid more pain and divorce.

Group Therapy:

Group therapy is a great way to seek treatment while connecting with other people who also want to focus on improving their mental health and well-being. I usually do not recommend group therapy for people who are new to therapy or people who need more one-on-one support with major life challenges. However, group therapy can be beneficial in keeping yourself accountable through connecting with other people who you can connect with. As a society we are seeing an increase in isolation and challenges with making meaningful connections. Group therapy can really improve mental health and emotional well-being.

Individual Therapy:

Individual therapy is great for people who want to focus on improving their mental health and well-being. Navigating relationships, work, school, health and other major stressors in life can be very challenging. I offer a lot of resources and support for my clients. I begin by conducting a free consultation and several follow up sessions to firstly get to know my client. Secondly, I put together a customized plan developed with my client to focus on a wide range of support. Some clients need medical intervention in which case I refer the client to a medical doctor while following up with added talk therapy which is proven to be very effective in addressing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and many other mental health conditions that CAN be treated.

1. Exercise- humans needs to workout, and that can include just walking daily. Have a sleep schedule and try to stick to it. Humans crave having a routine and schedule and that includes sleep. Try to get your 8 hours of sleep everyday.

2. Manage stress, this is where exercise helps a lot. There will always be moments in your life where there will be a lot of stress, and this is often out of your control. But again doing something small like taking a walk can really help with stress.

3. Lastly, eat healthy and destress whenever you can.

This may take a few sessions but this stage is crucial in therapy. We recommend giving feedback to therapist in order to adjust the treatment plan to work for you.
